Amazon is looking for experienced candidate for an Operational Excellence Lead role within Finance Operations (Payroll) to identify, create, develop, and integrate innovative solutions and programs that lead to improvements in our organization and will be responsible for monitoring and measuring the success of these improvements..
This is a key senior level position, with high visibility within the organization and will require the candidate to build strong relationships with our Financial Operations Technical, Compliance, Human Resources, Human Resources Services, Regional Payroll Operations and external vendor teams.The ability to coordinate and deliver at a detailed level is a must and with this comes the visibility and recognition of a true contributor. .

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Working with global teams in reviewing E2E Finance processes and identifying improvement opportunities
Leading and mentoring improvement projects (Kaizens, BB/GB, JDIs etc…)
Developing, modifying and maintaining the operational and design effectiveness of internal controls
Designing and conducting Lean Six Sigma and data analysis related training
Coordinating with the Payroll teams in Hyderabad to ensure best practices and reporting are identified, implemented and followed
Reporting to key stakeholders
Analyzing the net present value cost impact of competing pricing structures.
Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business or related field
Minimum Greenbelt Six Sigma
Demonstrable years of Greenbelt or greater experience in business, back office, accounting, operations, logistics, consulting or similar field

Skill set and experience

· Proven project management ability that shows how to organize, find solutions, and follow through to a successful conclusion
· Led and mentored at least 10 improvement projects
· Ability to communicate precisely and concisely
· Strong analytical skills
· Independent and entrepreneurial showing the ability to work with minimal direction
· Strong attention to detail
· Ability to make decisions based on data analysis
· Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously Ability to deal with ambiguity
· Ability to effectively manage escalations of complex problems
Preferred Qualifications

- Black Belt experience
