This position will work within the Central Learning team to support development activities across the entire KPMG population.
Given the changes within the team this role requires advanced experience within core L&D capabilities and a level of comfort managing through ambiguity and contributing to the shaping the future direction of the function. There will be considerable hands on design, development and delivery required as well as supporting project work. Significant budget management will also be required. Exposure to technology enabled learning and the use of psychometrics and coaching to support development solutions would be useful.

The individual will work with learning and talent teams across the firm to ensure best practice is shared and utilised.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the budget for the communication skills and self and task management curriculums.
- Programme directorship for selected offerings under the communication and self and task management skills curriculums.
- Lead delivery of skills curriculum courses and events such as leadership, management, communication skills, Values Day and career Milestones (virtual and face to face).
- Lead design activities for various skills learning programme. Working with internal and external partners.
- Formal performance management of C and D grades within the Central L&D team.
- Lead the design and delivery of all Learn and Experience elements of the Academy. This includes monthly Skills Builds, Learning with Leaders and KPMG Mentors.
- Contribute to the overall strategy of the Academy and support the head of Academy in driving this forward.
- Support and coach junior Academy team members to deliver on the Learn and Experience activities.

Prior experience for the role
- Advisory/Consulting/Business Partnering – Good business partnering skills within a commercial environment with a variety of stakeholders at all levels to scope, plan, develop and deliver demonstrable business impact. The role will work with other team members from across the organisation to deliver solutions. Being able to shape and manage a budget to deliver focused value for money and business impact will be important. Ability to engage and manage other resources in included in this area.
- Learning Design and Development – Advanced experience conducting a needs analysis, scoping, planning, designing and developing programmes particularly in the soft skills/commercial skills.
- Learning Delivery/Facilitation – Strong experience in delivery/facilitation and willingness to deliver a range of programmes from junior colleagues up to SM level.
- Learning Impact/Evaluation – Understand how to design/deliver programmes which transfer impact to the business and produce longer term results. Experience with tracking and reporting results.
- Learning Technology – Experience of technology enabled learning and developing learning solutions which utilise technology to support the overall development experience. Hands-on development experience useful, but not essential
- Vendor Management – Experience in establishing and managing external vendor relationships and discussing business requirements to ensure value for money and business impact.
- Performance Management – Experience of formal Performance Management and various team management responsibilities.
- Talent Development – Experience building development plans and recommending development activities to support plans.
Qualifications
- Educated to degree level or completion of a recognised related course(s) or accreditation(s)
- Various Psychometric qualifications preferred, but not essential
