We are seeking an innovative, inspirational, and results-oriented Country Leader for the External Payments business in the UK to scale the business through the next inflexion point of growth. The Country Leader will lead and grow the operations already established in the UK while contributing to the launch of operations in additional European countries. Based in London, the Country Leader UK will report to the Director of External Payments EU. The Country Leader will be a member of the EU EPS leadership team.

Lead, nurture and grow a team of diverse and senior profiles, including direct sales, account management, solution provider management, solution architect; team size between 20 and 25 people
Define and Implement the strategy and tactics for the business in the UK in order to achieve significant and sustained growth over the next couple of years
Plan and achieve payment volume, revenue, and operating profit goals for the business in the UK, define resources, organization, and budgets to achieve growth and financial targets.
Ensure effectiveness and efficiency of multiple channels, including direct sales, self-service, and partnerships with solution providers, including leveraging new operating models to achieve faster growth and higher scalability
Develop and maintain a broad and deep understanding of buyer and merchant habits, preferences, and needs in the UK
Exhibit strong commercial judgement, coupled with the ability to lead teams to identify root causes to drive insights and best practice
Contribute to the development of vision, long-term strategy, three-year plans, and annual operating plans as a senior manager of the EU External Payments business.
Utilize superior skills in earning trust and influencing others to secure commitment to and ensure successful execution of programs and initiatives that will have a regional or global impact. This role will involve leading cross functional such as Product Management, Marketing, Integration and Operations, many of whom are based in other geographies.
Elevate bench strength in the existing teams and develop a high performing team, curb attrition and develop high potentials.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelors degree.
10+ years of relevant work experience.
5+ years of management experience.
5+ years of experience working in the UK/EU.
Experience leading small and large organizations (10 – 50+ people).
E-commerce and/or payments industry knowledge and experience.
Strong organizational planning and development, business judgment, technical leadership, and communication skills.
Cognizant of the end-user/customer experience.
Ability to lead multiple simultaneous initiatives.
An analytical mind that thrives in a data-driven environment.
MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
2+ years as general manager preferred.
