The Investment Director in EU region, as a local member of Huawei CDD’s EU team, will be responsible for local VC and M&A activities. He / she will report to CDD EU Team Leader.
Location: United Kingdom / Germany
- Sourcing deals of technological VC investments and M&As.
- Participating and supporting opportunities assessment, due diligence, agreements negotiation, closing and integration.
- Industry trend analysis and research for the ICT (IT and Communication Technology) from a venture capital perspective.
- Keeping track on the local high-tech innovation, VC and M&A dynamics.
Desired Skills and Experience
10+ years experience within the Information and Communications Technology. In depth understanding and expertise in deal structure design, due diligence as well as business strategy negotiation is essential.
BS / BA degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.
5+ years experience working in either a corporate investment department or VC firm with.
At least 3 years experience leading a project team or in a project management capacity.
Familiarity with Tier 1 / Tier 2 Venture Capital Firm, Incubator, Universities and Institutes, Private Equity Funds and Investment Banks in Europe.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills are a must.
