We are looking for a Commercial Director to negotiate with major contractors in the most prestigious projects in London. Need to have confidence in negotiating final accounts with Commercial Directors of major companies.
Key duties
Interpret and operate both standard form and bespoke contract procedures and mechanisms
Demonstrate a working knowledge of commercial procedures, the principles of contract law
Prepare, assess and interrogate construction Costs
To be able to develop the QS team in managing the contracts so that we have a solid foundation going into the final account negotiations
Demonstrate a working knowledge of dispute resolution procedures, specifically Adjudication
Prepared dispute referral, response and reply documents
Prepare claims for loss and expense
Provide full commercial management of construction projects through to agreement of final account
Review and analyse tender and contract documentation
Provide strategic advice at all stages of the construction lifecycle.
