The ideal Software Director will be a commercially focused senior manager, used to driving delivery and getting the very best out of large teams of developers (100+ minimum).
You must have solid experience of Agile software delivery, and have should be able to demonstrate instances of delivering, or implementing a move to Agile development.
You will of course have excellent knowledge and experience of managing multiple third party and outsource partners, and be used to managing large annual budgets; £10m-£20m+.
Working as a joined-up Senior Executive team, you will play an important role in the future strategy, growth and development of the company's flagship products, and the company itself.
Desired Skills and Experience
Key experience required:
Proven management of large scale software development teams- 100+ developers
Have experience of working in mixed environments of legacy and new technologies.
Proven experience of delivering a transition to Agile or excellent experience in an Agile environment.
Managed budgets of £10m to £20m per annum
Experience of dealing with customers/clients as a provider of software products
