Presenting and pitching to clients on RBS’s lending, advisory and capital markets activities in the Oil & Gas sector
Leading negotiations with internal and external stakeholders, including existing and prospective Corporate clients, Financial Sponsors and professional intermediaries
Leading deal teams, which will include supervising the production of financial analysis, Sightings, Capital Commitments and Credit papers, coaching and coordinating staff, and sharing your expertise
Leading by example on risk awareness and management, and ensuring our core values and responsibilities are firmly embedded within the team
What you'll bring
You'll need to be an astute and determined manager, with in-depth knowledge of the Oil and Gas Sector (Upstream, Midstream and Downstream). A comprehensive understanding of credit risk is also crucial, along with the ability to evaluate complex financial information and identify workable plans and solutions. Knowledge of Structured Finance would be a definite advantage.
You'll need a keen eye for detail, and strong legal, documentation and risk analysis skills. Twinned with this, you'll be an assured and flexible communicator, able to negotiate effectively, lead the presentation of deals, and build productive relationships with your team, colleagues and external stakeholders.
You’ll also have the ability to guide and motivate others, to share your expertise and to develop the potential of junior colleagues. You'll be able to work on your own initiative, managing high performing deal teams at the same time as contributing to the wider strategic agenda for our Structured Finance business.
