Trek Bikes is seeking a strong marketing leader with positive energy, to lead Trek’s Regional Marketing operations for the Europe region. The successful candidate is responsible for refining and localizing the global marketing strategy into a plan that maximizes marketing effectiveness and return within the region. The successful candidate will need to understand the Trek brand core values, brand essence and standards and ardently keeps all representations of the brand ‘on brand’ at all times.
Position Responsibilities:

Develop and implement programs to support field sales and initiatives which generate Sales and planned growth.
Works effectively with the sales, product, service and inventory management teams to teach the Trek business to best localize marketing efforts.
Builds, maintains and communicates a regionalized marketing calendar and plan by refining and editing the global list of deliverables. Works proactively to define the region’s plan and calendar.
Responsible for Leading the marketing team in a fast paced and constantly changing environment with high positive energy, the ability to think quickly and a distain for drama whenever possible. Works well under pressure and with short timelines.
Acts as coach and problem preventer/solver for Country Marketing Managers within the region. Constantly provides feedback and proactively shares best practices between offices. Manages and consolidates unique project requests to constantly gain the best return and reach for every marketing deliverable.
Work directly with the European marketing team to support marketing events and shows across Europe.
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5+ years of proven marketing communications experience in a corporate or agency environment. Field marketing or Sales a plus.
Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles, including brand initiatives with a premium brand/product
Excellent communication and presentation skills including the ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels and build effective partnerships
Demonstrated ability to lead marketing teams to create and execute creative and effective marketing programs, with demonstrated ROI
Strong creative & analytical skills with the ability to evaluate multi-source data and draw global trends
Strategic agility and big idea thinking, combined with a willingness to dive in as needed to get the job done
Experience working in a digital marketing, and measuring success in a digital environment.
Strong understanding of and experience in managing key marketing communications activities brand identity and positioning, promotions and advertising, communications quality control, and corporate events planning and management).
Have a passion for Continuous improvement, and not afraid to challenge the status quo to drive significant online marketing and campaign initiatives
