Job Description:
This position is responsible for managing a team that develops and executes marketing plans and strategies to maximize awareness, drive product demand, influence sales positively and promote products to internal and end-user audiences. Work includes development and execution of end-user/prospect demand generation programs, direct marketing strategies and programs to build sales pipeline.

In-depth background related marketing experience, preferably in software marketing, IT hardware or related technology. Experience managing the creation and execution of effective direct marketing demand generation programs. Experience managing the creation of marketing programs and/or materials that promote technology solutions to end users and channel partners.

Responsibilities
Manage the people and programs responsible for generating market awareness and product demand by overseeing all marketing activities such as direct mail/e-mail campaigns, seminars, training, trade shows, advertising, and special promotions.
Manage the creation and execution of quarterly marketing plans which could be Area marketing or CA-centric (Geographic marketing) specific
Manage the development of effective sales tools for internal sales teams.
Interact with direct field marketing, product marketing, sales and marketing personnel to ensure product direction and complimentary programs.
Ensure the creation and updating of Internet/intranet content where appropriate.
Serve as liaison between product marketing, sales and the marketplace.
Assess effectiveness of marketing initiatives plan and adjust accordingly.
Determine the appropriate media/marketing vehicle for the intended message/audience.
Oversee the obtainment of lists and audience for each campaign.
Assist in the implementation of marketing activities including sales promotions, client sales events, and new product introductions.

Requirements
In-depth knowledge of sales channel.
Outstanding communication skills including writing and content development.
Strong people management skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed deadlines.
Ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proven experience communicating with all levels of management.
