Client Consulting Executive - Financial Services - Cisco - London


Job description
Cisco Consulting Services (CCS) is seeking a senior experienced Financial Services (FS) consultant to work directly with one of our largest Global Enterprise Theater (GET) banking customers in London. This key role as a Cisco Client Consulting Executive will directly report into the Cisco GET Consulting Services VP. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in closing new consulting business, delivering quality engagements and achieving booking, revenue and profit goals. The candidate should have a strong working experience and knowledge of Retail Banking, Investment Banking, Wealth Management and Information Technology.

KEY OBJECTIVES / PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for building relationships and trusted advisor status with top business and IT executives in multiple countries in which this client operates
Responsible for understanding the FS business thus driving innovation and creativity in consulting proposals that deliver high value to the client especially in areas that link Line of Business care-abouts to IT specific opportunities
Responsible for the overall quality of the consulting work delivered to the client and the overall satisfaction of the client with CCS
Responsible for the overall bookings, revenue and profitability generated at the client
Responsible for ensuring that the appropriately skilled consulting resources are working on all client engagements
Responsible for the cross functional collaboration between the GET Consulting Services team and the breadth of Cisco at the account including working with: Cisco Product Sales, Service Sales, Advanced Services, Practices and others
Responsible for helping to recruit, grow and mentor the delivery consultants across the GET theater

Desired Skills and Experience
Technical Expertise – Demonstrated technical expertise in the form of either a bachelor in engineering or a bachelor in science degree, as networking/data center is highly technical in nature, and a keen understanding of this technology is required in order to provide a comprehensive, differentiated, and valuable level of consulting advice to the client. An MBA will also have added value.
Industry Expertise – Demonstrated knowledge of the FS business to be conversant in order to present a compelling point-of-view to the client of what work should be undertaken in order to help the client’s company achieve competitive advantage and differentiation.
Delivery Expertise – Demonstrated ability to successfully manage the delivery of complex consulting projects on time and on budget, which exceed client expectations in terms of deliverable quality and positive impact to the client’s business.
Executive Presence – Demonstrated success in holding credibility with the top client executives, and ability to present complex ideas in succinct yet compelling form that creates urgency to execute the proposed engagement. Ability to think “out-of-the-box” and to communicate in a confident manner.
Leadership – Demonstrated leadership and general management skills in all aspects of managing large clients in a services business including the shaping of the consulting portfolio, the evolution of the set of services capabilities, the development of the consulting team, and the operational model required to run a business profitably and efficiently.
Global Experience – Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, global conditions that affect the client’s business and influence how solutions must be tailored for different regions on the world depending on cultural, regulatory, infrastructure, or security settings.
Travel: Willingness to travel on a sustained basis
