As a HR Business Partner for the Google for Work organization, you will be instrumental in setting the people-orientated vision and strategy for our Google for Work Sales and Marketing Groups within EMEA. You will join the People Operations group, acting in both a hands-on and strategic fashion in order to provide human resources expertise in the areas of employee relations, coaching/development, compensation, conflict management, organizational development and more. You’ll be an integral part of the leadership group, utilizing your understanding of the business and acting as a thought leader regarding People and Organizational developments.

Responsibilities
Consult with Google's leaders to create a comprehensive people strategy for the region.
Drive people-related initiatives with your communication, coaching and influencing skills and offer thought-leadership regarding organizational/people-related strategy and execution.
Provide relevant data and recommendations to guide decision-making related to compensation, organization structure, attrition, promotions, leadership and employee development and other activities.
Set the strategy for People Operations programs (performance management, compensation planning, engagement surveys, promotions, etc). Educate clients on various HR initiatives including compensation practices, performance review/management process, reorganizations and various management issues.
Partner closely with functional HRBPs and People Operations functions to deliver high-value service to client groups. Address and manage a broad spectrum of employee relations matters, and work to resolve them through a systematic approach adhering to company policies, local employment laws and best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
Experience of working as a HR Business Partner (HRBP), Generalist or Employee Relations/Recruiting Specialist.
Experience in HR disciplines and in related emerging practices and developments.

Preferred qualifications:
Advanced project management and operations skills, with the demonstrated ability to manage site wide/organizational projects and initiatives.
Demonstrated ability to listen and to persuade in relation to key ideas and recommendations.
Strong consulting and coaching skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with different people across the organization, both internationally and locally.
Effective analytical and problem solving skills with substantiated ability to organize and analyze data.
Bias for strategy and action. Comfortable rolling up your sleeves to get things done and the next moment being part of deeply complex strategy discussion.
