Reporting to the Group Director of Safety, Security & Resilience and with a total team of 27, the Group Security Director will be responsible for providing the leadership, direction and strategy to ensure the business is protected against fraud, internet-enabled criminality and criminal activity that threatens the brand, as well as guaranteeing that each part of the business has a resilience plan in place. The role will be based in Welwyn Garden City, but will require international travel.
Providing leadership to the:
Corporate investigation team
Fraud prevention team
Cybercrime intelligence/insight team
Business resilience team
Agreeing with key partners across the business:
A fraud prevention strategy (blueprint)
A Business resilience and crisis management strategy (blueprint)
A strategy to enable people to speak up (protector line strategy)
Overseeing and, when appropriate, leading the response to critical investigations and other incidents
Liaising with relevant external agencies/organisations
Ideal Candidate
Experience of operating at Director/Senior leadership team level
Proven track record of managing major and complex investigations both in the UK and overseas
Awareness of the current criminal justice landscape and relevant organisations
Strong legacy of developing strategies to confront complex and dynamic issues/situations, during both 'peace & war'
A commercial understanding and an awareness of Business Governance procedures
Highly effective influencing skills
