The position of EMEA Strategic Sourcing Leader – Honeywell Personal Protective Equipment reports directly to the Vice President, Strategic Sourcing, PPE, with matrix reporting to the Vice President/GM of the PPE EMEA business, and is directly responsible for All Strategic Sourcing personnel in EMEA.
The successful replenishment of direct material and finished goods purchase from outside suppliers For PPE manufacturing sites and distribution centers The establishment, performance, and improvement of the supply base Meeting and exceeding all sourcing goals and requirements for productivity, working capital, and Supplier quality
Responsibilities
Management of direct and indirect reports, including MRR, Annual reviews, budget management.
Establish and manage MOS to deliver and exceed goals for productivity, working capital, and customer OTTR
Insure participation in and delivery of Sourcing responsibilities for all NPI projects.
Participation in and delivery of all sourcing responsibilities for the EMEA Gold Enterprise business leader
Development and participation in global PPE AOP, STRAP, and other strategic initiatives for PPE and ACS
Participation and delivery of, as needed, ad hoc projects and initiatives as determined by VP,
Sourcing and VP/GM EMEA PPE.
Qualification Required And Skills
Bachelor’s degree in management, sourcing
Master’s degree preferred
Global strategic sourcing
Sourcing Experience with a global manufacturing or retail corporation
Excellent communication skills…verbal, PowerPoint, written
Demonstrated management of sourcing professionals in different geographic regions and cultures
Demonstrated ability to manage and work in a matrix environment
Demonstrated expertise in MRP systems (SAP, other).
Demonstrated success in meeting and achieving sourcing metrics (productivity, Working capital, supplier Performance.
Demonstrated negotiations skills and successes, in different cultures
Demonstrated skills and successes in supplier development, improvement, and Strategies.
