Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Director of Sales for our Sales Centre covering UK and Ireland, who will lead and develop activity with both established and prospective clients. This business critical role provides opportunity for an individual to take ownership of their own team of direct sellers to meet and surpass revenue and sales targets. A successful candidate would demonstrate that they can lead a team to success, achieve growth targets, develop customer relationships, , secure new business and deliver results for our organisation and our customers.To meet and exceed sales targets
Take responsibility for the development and leadership of large complex sales within multinational organisations
Develop account strategy, improve win-rate and accelerate opportunity closure on key accounts using established sales methods for strategic account planning
Implement sales management processes to effectively forecast and manage the sales funnel
Provide Executive leadership on the end-end sales process and sales centre sales initiatives
Oversee multiple sales propositions – prioritizing and assigning resources
Coach Account Managers developing their sales skills and client management
Assuring appropriate level of communication and engagement from all internal and external stakeholders
Provide additional executive customer contact and positioning
Provide leadership for the sales team during the development and closing of business opportunities, especially during the most critical phases of a bid (pricing strategy, negotiations, and internal escalations)
Essential Requirements
Candidates must have a proven track record and significant knowledge of the Telecommunication industry with a sound understanding of Business models and processes in managed network services, network infrastructure and managed applications.
Degree qualified
Experience in Sales, Sales Support
In-depth knowledge of Strategic Account Management and Consultative Selling methods
Executive level business acumen and financial/analytical skills
Individual must have a proactive, strategic planning experience and approach
Knowledge of the UK and Ireland market
Solid sales experience in a B2B environment
