Apple is seeking a highly successful, experienced public relations professional to join the European Corporate Communications team.
The role will lead media relations and communications for the following key focus areas: Government Affairs, the Environment, Supplier Responsibility, Community Relations, Legal and issues management.
The Corporate Communications Director is responsible for cultivating and maintaining positive media for Apple.
The role will work with Euro & WW stakeholders and PR amongst others to define and execute our corporate public relations efforts in Europe. The role will be a key information source for all media contacts requesting data, insights, and feedback.
We are looking for a highly experienced and seasoned individual with a strong and proven track record in corporate relations and crisis/issues management. They will also have extensive experience across Europe dealing with media and government relations.
Description
Work closely with the Corp Comms team in Cupertino and key stakeholders in Europe to set our Corporate PR agenda for Europe.
Identify and build relationships with the right media in the respective key focus areas.
Track, monitor and report on the key focus areas, escalating potential public issues and opportunities that may impact the organisation.
Play our part in making the world a better place than when we found it.
Education Details
Degree preferred.
Key Qualifications
Extensive corporate public relations experience with a proven track record across Europe.
Significant experience in media relations and issues management.
Experience in supply chain issues.
Experience in Legal affairs.
Highly skilled communicator, both written and oral.
Strong attention to detail, and demonstrable ability to be “hands-on.”
Team player with high level of people skills.
Additional Requirements
Based in London with three direct reports.
Travel to the US and Europe is required.
Reports to the Senior Director, Corporate Communications, Europe.
