Job Description:
The DIGITAL DIRECTOR will create an outstanding online customer experience, promote Digital in stores and put Digital at the centre of the business in order to drive 25%+ annual online sales growth and start a digital revolution at Sweaty Betty.
You are an inspirational and forward thinking leader who can create a digital revolution at Sweaty Betty. Reporting to the CEO you lead a growing and dynamic team that includes technology, user experience, online trading, content and merchandising to provide a seamless experience for the Sweaty Betty customer.
You are responsible for the digital vision. You will create, own and be accountable for the delivery of the ecommerce strategy and digital roadmap. The key strategies you create will drive the sales and profit performance across all the Sweaty Betty sites especially the UK and USA as well as making the sites the ‘digital flagships’ of the brand.
You will embrace 'omni-channel' and work closely with the Retail Teams in the UK and USA to put the power of digital in to the stores and to ensure the customer experience is 'channel-blind’. You believe that online sales should account for over 50% of the brands sales.
You lead your team in continually improving the effectiveness of online activity to further establish Sweaty Betty's pre-eminence as a consumer brand that actively engages customers by blending high quality content with commercial e-commerce. Increasing the usability, functionality, conversion and overall appeal of the global online offering.
You collaborate strategically with the Digital Marketing team to produce digital marketing campaigns focused on trading metrics such as sales, traffic, conversion, AOV and margins.
Leading a talented team, you foster a spirit of innovation, collaboration and passion for the power of digital and the Sweaty Betty brand. You also influence the rest of the business to embrace Digital and its potential to transform the way we work.
With a current understanding of competitor activity, relevant industry and technical knowledge to identify market gaps and opportunities for all products on multiple platforms
