Job Description:
As a project leader on management consulting projects for Strategic Planning Group clients, (American Express business units), the director will lead SPG/client teams to understand and articulate issues facing a client, structure and execute project work, communicate findings/ recommendations to senior business leaders, and work with stakeholders across Amex to create change. Assignments range from new product / business assessment and piloting to longer range business planning. The director will also participate in recruiting and developing SPG staff.
Required Skills
MBA experience in management consulting, business analysis or business development
Project management experience
Strong, creative strategic thinker
Exceptional problem solving skills (issue identification, problem structuring, analysis, development of recommendations)
Comfort working across many businesses, functional areas (marketing, operations, finance, sales, etc.) and levels of the organization
Ability to manage and motivate teams
Strong communication skills
