Leading and managing a team responsible for driving the development and deployment of country/region-specific strategy and ensuring, in close collaboration with the sales leadership, prioritisation of our consumer channel investments across IMMEA (India, Middle East, Mediterranean, Eastern Europe, Africa).

Based: central London with regular travel.
Reports to: VP, IMMEA.
Key Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be a consumer channel strategist with in-depth knowledge of the business model of the partners and retailers operating in this field.
Supporting the VP, IMMEA in refining the go- to-market strategy for consumer products, they will bring an innovative approach and a proven track record of channel sales and strategy on a multi-territory basis in emerging markets.
With a strong customer focus, the ideal candidate will be a seasoned consumer channel expert with high quality, merchandised Point-of-Sales programs expertise.
They will have a strong understanding of, and empathy with, the Apple brand and its products.
Outstanding attention to detail and program quality are essential for this role. This individual will have a proven track record in providing planning processes and/or campaign simplification.
Description
Reporting to the IMMEA VP, the Consumer Channels Business Development Director is responsible for a team of Business Development Executives who will work with relevant country teams to develop, document and execute country-specific strategy for consumer and retail channel engagement;
Provide domain expertise to support regional and local teams/management in the identification of business development opportunities and relevant strategy;
Agree regional engagement priorities with Country Managers, Regional Directors and IMMEA VP and communicate these for other Central teams (CP&D and SP&O);
Driving close collaboration with EMElA CP&D and SP&O teams ensure availability of relevant tools, investments and programs and ensure cascading of global programs in the region;
Supporting local teams in the execution of activities, ensuring best in class delivery through the utilisation of EMEIA/WW tools and programs, to include program development where existing solutions cannot support local needs;
Support IMMEA countries in the execution of strategy;
Identify, provide and manage relevant performance metrics to inform country-specific strategy;
Represent the region in WW ‘forums’;
Share best practice from other countries (within and outside the region).
