Department Description:
EMEA Banking Operations deliver Cash Management and Liquidity products and services to external and internal clients and Lines of Business through a global operating model with teams based in Bournemouth, India and the Phillippines supporting the processing of 3 million SWIFT messages and 1 million payment instructions with a value in excess of $500bn on a daily basis.
Position Summary
The selected candidate will have responsibilities that include, but are not limited to:
End to End responsibility for a mix of EMEA Banking Operations processing teams
Review team performance, provide guidance and mentorship to staff
Oversight of all operational controls and related remediation plans
Budgetary responsibility for the processing delivery model
Liaise with team leads within region and across regions to facilitate knowledge sharing and document best practice
Interacting with respective stakeholders and partners (Regional Sales, Service, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Product leads)
Work with multiple LOB's to support New Business initiatives
Qualifications
Key Skills & Qualifications:
Proven success in people management and development including management of remote teams
Ability to successfully motivate teams to deliver high quality and timely results
Excellent decision making skills and judgment
Excellent interpersonal skills; Strong written and verbal communication skills
Build and maintain strategic relationships with business, technology and operations partners across the Firm
Ability to work as part of a team and also individually motivated
Cash/payments product knowledge preferred
Good understanding of regulatory environment
Initiative and experience in driving strategic agenda and proactively identifying issues
Capable of taking full ownership of issues / accountability
B.S. Degree or equivalent preferred
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and time management skills
Strong project and reporting management skills is a necessity
