Job Description:
The exciting opportunity of Director, Europe Sales and Relationship Management has arisen at FTSE Russell, part of the London Stock Exchange Group.
As the Sales Director you will be responsible for selling all FTSE Russell indices (Equity and Fixed Income), data and software to buy and sell-side clients in the UK & Europe.
As the successful candidate, you will be expected to have existing relationships within the finance industry across buy side, sell side, private client and wealth, wrap providers, custodial services, hedge funds or fixed income market segments.

You will be committed to building a strong franchise for the encompassing brands as well as identifying opportunities to both up and cross-sell key products across the market to existing and potential clients.

To be successful in the role you must have a proven sales track and have the ability to drive adoption within an existing client base. Extensive experience in buy-side institutional sales and development of existing relationships are key requirements.
Desired Skills and Experience
What we are looking for from you
Demonstrable sales and account management experience in selling financial information services to asset management and investment banking firms
Solid experience in sales with a proven track record
Excellent knowledge of, and experience in, the financial markets
Must show the ability to develop and implement strategic and tactical territory and account sales plans
Commercially focused. Have the ability to assist FTSE Russell clients grow their business using a range of FTSE Russell products and services
Ability to manage demanding performance targets
Ability to close the sale and secure commercial contract agreements in a timely manner
Adept at operating independently and as part of a team
Ability to develop and maintain good relations with FTSE Russell management and fellow staff members
Cooperative in following and supporting the goals set by FTSE Russell management
Strong knowledge of Equities and Fixed Income
Excellent verbal and written communications abilities
Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure with constructive and professional work capabilities
Interpersonal and presentation skills
Ablility to work in an entrepreneurial environment
