Deputy Head / Director for UK & Ireland Procurement
Location: UK, Ireland
Department: Procurement Qualification Department
Responsibilities:
- Huawei UK supplier qualification including UK , Ireland and surrounding countries suppliers
- Qualify suitable suppliers for Huawei projects bidding and implementation needs
- Procurement Strategy setup for huawei Uk & I, including annual strategy and project strategy, Product strategy, long term and short term strategy etc

- Manage the key stakeholders expectations and also suppliers expectations to reach the business success
- Negotiation with customers & subcontractors to maximize company’s benefit, organizing the bidding activities from inquiry preparation, offers evaluation, negotiation and contract signing.
- Build and develop relationships with key suppliers and customers.
- Working together with the project team and procurement team to achieve the project / Procurement goal
- Working together with the category manager to achieve the procurement KPI
- Manage some key projects’ procurement function for successful project delivery
- Collecting cost baseline information of services in the market and building cost benchmark;
- Reporting to head of procurement for Huawei UK & I and Head of procurement for Huawei WEU

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or above in telecommunication field or equivalent,
- At least 10 years work experience in Telecommunications industry, at least 5 years experience in outsourcing and from telecom manufacturer side or telecom implementation subcontractor side is preferable, 2 years more management experience.
- Strong background in-direct proucrement and marketing knowledge, including Field Service, Operation and Maintenance, 3rd party equipment maintenance, etc. Able to prepare wireless outsourcing policies.
- Strong negotiation skill and influence power; proved procurement cost-down track; strong leadership and management skills; Good team-work operating with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in English language.
- Energetic and studious; willing to work in Huawei ; and willing to get more success in the career
- Willing to work in Chinese company and with the international knowledge
