The Partnership Director will be accountable for leading and driving the overall service and programme activity on behalf of CGI to one of our clients. You will be responsible for, amongst other responsibilities:
• Overseeing a successful transition from current supplier prior to taking over the service on April 1st 2016
• Facilitating strong client and CGI senior management relationships focussed on alignment of strategic objectives and outcomes for the Partnership and the client
• Providing leadership, strategy and direction to shape the future of the Partnership, bringing CGI global experience and best practice to the CIO and Exec Team
• Oversee the management of a complex supply chain, ensuring strong subcontractor/partner and CGI senior management relationships with key subcontractors
• Building and maintaining positive relationships with key senior staff in the customer organisation in order to increase business opportunities.
• Advising them on the selection of solutions and technology to meet their business objectives.
• Leading and managing colleagues in their dealings with customer organisation; initiates procedures to improve service to and relationships with customers. Oversees the management and planning of business opportunities.
The Role Requires The Role Holder Can Provide Consummate Leadership Around The Following
• Introducing CGI IP
• Actively supporting and encouraging a focus on introducing SMEs into the supply chain
• Ensuring the delivery of Community Benefits and Wider Savings commitments as expected by the customer and the wider community they serve
• Delivery of all major contractual obligations including delivery of 93 OBS
• Execution of a strategic scale transformation programme which includes the full migration to a utility based ICT service, Channel Shift programme enabled by Digital Technologies, corporate wide Mobile Working programme and the launch of a Multi-Agency Customer Gateway
• Build and develop a high performing CGI Team
• Year-on-year improvement in contractual KPI performance – commissioning of a joint Annual Report covering all areas of CGI’s contractual commitments
• Full P&L responsibility
• Provide oversight and leadership to delivery of Public Sector Partner contract as appropriate
Candidate Requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have/be
• a consummate influencer, building relationships and reputation by engaging across often complex and nuanced environments;
• have the depth and breadth of leadership and management experience with extensive demonstrable evidence to successfully balance off the three challenging interests of Members, Clients and Shareholders;
• more than conversant with the technology sector and will have a wide understanding of consultancy services, outsourcing and complex delivery solutions across the Public Sector;
• An accomplished and skilled negotiator with an enviable track record of successfully identifying, negotiating and closing contracts with sound commercial terms.
• Experience of delivering large value contracts and annuity based sales (£50m+).
• Demonstrable results in growing revenues within a defined client base, notably through service and contractual enhancements
• Able to encourage change and innovation within a complex environment to drive value for the customer and CGI
• An emotionally intelligent leader of people, capable of harnessing diverse groups to drive optimal success;
• Tenacious, resilient and possesses high levels of drive, energy and results-orientation.
• Highly networked with personal business contacts across the client portfolio
• Known and respected in the sector.
