Cross-Border Business Marketing Manager Facebook London

The Global Business Marketing team seeks a marketing expert to develop and drive an integrated marketing strategy for Facebook’s global Cross-Border (Export) advertising business. The successful candidate will join a new, entrepreneurial team focusing on building solutions to help businesses expand internationally and reach audiences in new markets.
The ideal candidate has domain expertise in digital advertising/marketing and experience with marketing messaging for Export advertisers. In addition, we’re looking for someone with deep business acumen and the desire to transform how marketers conduct their digital marketing on an international basis.

The successful candidate will have a breadth of functional experience in marketing communications, including strong content development and messaging skills, and the ability to develop both product release communications materials and strategic integrated marketing plans. Excellent marketing, communication and project management skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across globally distributed cross-functional teams. The candidate will need to use strategic thinking to develop marketing programs and an impactful marketing plan working in a fast-paced, always-on environment. This position is full-time, based in our London offices, and will also require some global travel.

Responsibilities

Drive the content strategy, message and materials development for Facebook’s solution set for Export advertisers
Work with the Facebook product teams to develop positioning, messaging, and strategy for landing our core Cross-Border value proposition
Build a deep understanding of new advertising offerings and create compelling materials about those product releases for multiple audiences and channels (Facebook sales force, clients, PR, partners, website, etc.)
Create compelling content that shifts long-held perspectives at the highest levels of specific industries
Build concise and meaningful stories out of complex information in order to achieve specific objectives
Work closely with global cross-functional teams to activate messages and drive product adoption
Create, execute, and drive translation of marketing collateral—including things like PowerPoint decks, fact sheets, playbooks, customer stories, newsletters, how-to content, videos, and more
Requirements

Bachelors degree
6+ years experience in marketing communications, product marketing communications, or export marketing. Must be knowledgeable about the advertising industry and experience in digital advertising a plus
Expertise in content development and development and execution of integrated marketing plans
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal (proven written communication skills)
A passion for the truth well-told
Ability to synthesize complex product features and client needs into simple, powerful stories
Ability to handle the pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment across multiple time zones and teams
Strong understanding of and comfort with how to use data to tell our story effectively
Expertise in Word, PowerPoint, and Keynote
Adobe creative suite a plus
