Sepam Infrastructure & Heavy Industry (I&HI) Business Segment is focused on delivering Engineering, Procurement and Construction projects globally, concentrating on technically challenging projects consisting of: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP); Extra Low Voltage (ELV); Communications, IT and Security Systems.

Main Objectives:
To develop and grow the regional rail business in the Middle East focused on business development and customer relationship building.
Identify opportunities, lead positioning and development activities, identify and secure resources to bid and deliver prospects, and build a sustainable rail practice for the region.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Development and leadership of the regional rail business into a sustainable ongoing business.

Specific Objectives
Work with the Regional Management Team and the Main Board of the Sepam Group to develop and implement an effective 5 year plan to grow the broader rail business in the region.
Identification and capture of opportunities in accordance with the 5 year plan.
Recruitment and management of key resources to capture and deliver multi-faceted, multi-disciplinary rail projects in the region.
Oversee operational delivery of rail assignments, as Project Director of specific assignments and carrying out client works as necessary.
Manage Business Development and Overhead budgets in accordance with the annual business plan, and participate in development of future business plan targets.
Desired Skills and Experience
Engineering degree.
Masters of Business Administration (MBA) or specialist Post Graduate Qualification (not essential, but a distinct advantage).
15+ years experience in the rail market, ideally with relationships with existing clients or partners in the broader Middle Eastern region.
Experience in developing client relationships.
Experience in business development and tendering for major projects in the rail environment.
Experience in developing and leading a team of consulting and/or in-house staff.
Proven network of contacts in the rail industry.
Experienced in major rail project delivery, including Specialist Systems.
