Director - Account - CNBC International - London
Job description
The Account Director will drive multiplatform advertising revenue generation, business development, and account planning efforts of the UK-based sales team.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND OBJECTIVES
Account Direction for Sales:
Responsible for the management & service of specific clients & agencies within region.
To see TV, Digital, and Events solutions to international advertisers across CNBC platforms.
Support the VP Sales EMEA in securing preferred status with clients & agencies, and adding value to their business
To meet revenue targets as outlined by VP Sales EMEA, to increase yield and share on returning accounts and build new business
Proactively build new business as a dedicated Account Director for a European country / region outside of the UK
To adapt to sell from the ‘Customer’s Viewpoint’.
To become the expert on customers’ business and marketing requirements, and by doing so meet their needs with the most relevant solutions from CNBC.
To work closely with team members, to provide seamless solutions and a cohesive multi-media effort maximizing returns for CNBC.
To provide the most professional and proficient service to our clients and be regarded as part of the best Sales team in the market
To design and produce sales and sponsorship presentations and proposals.
To produce client research to compel brands to buy CNBC advertising solutions.
To manage one direct report in the form of an Account Executive who will work under the Account Directors leadership to service their portfolio and implement campaigns sold

A proven record in sales plus sound presentation skills

Command of Word, Excel, Powerpoint
