Role Overview
Director of Client Implementation Services is responsible for a team of Senior Managers who lead teams of Project Managers and Security Engineers delivering implementation services to the SecureWorks Client base. Director of Client Implementation Services duties include professional development of his/her staff to an expert level. Additionally responsible for the establishment of performance metrics and tools to measure effectiveness and optimize service delivery. Duties include frequent verbal and written client communications to the current global SecureWorks client base as well as potential new clients.
The Director of Client Implementation Services will work closely with Client Services, Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Development, and Executive teams on strategic initiatives.
Role Responsibilities ? Manage hiring, staffing and maintenance of a diverse and effective workforce ? Oversight of departmental expenditure within established budgets ? Establish and maintain appropriate systems for measuring organizational performance ? Implement, document, and maintain operational procedures to support the strategic program established by SecureWorks department of internal audit ? Consult on long range planning for strategic corporate growth ? Planning and project management of strategic initiatives ? Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to facilitate cost effective delivery ? Work closely with Product Management and Development on new product and service specification ? Participate in business continuity planning, auditing, and crisis management ? Assess risks of contract variations to standard service levels As a managed security provider, Dell SecureWorks expects its employees to understand and apply commonly known security practices and possess a working knowledge of applicable industry controls such as NIST 800-53. Employees will be expected to acknowledge their security responsibilities in writing prior to gaining access to company systems. Employees will be required to maintain a working knowledge of local security policies and execute general controls as assigned. Requirements ? Must possess an executive presence; must be articulate and fluid ? Ability to build, lead and maintain a cohesive leadership team ? Track record of success with managing a large portfolio of various-sized projects ? Ability to maintain an annual budget for >100 staff ? Proven ability to recruit, attract, develop and retain top technical and non-technical staff ? Undergraduate degree or Graduate degree with extensive relevant experience ? Extensive years technical management experience required Preferences ? Expert knowledge/experience of network systems security principles and applications ? Knowledge of risk management practices, general security methods and approaches ? SANS GIAC GSEC cert preferred ? CISSP certification preferred ? PMP certification preferred ? CISM cert preferred ? MBA preferred, not required
