Job description
JOB PURPOSE

- Team and functional leadership

- Define, develop and deliver against key functional strategies

- Commercial benefit delivery, measurement and continuous improvement

- Supplier rationalisation and transaction efficiencies


- Reduction of unmanaged spend

- Develop and own category sourcing strategy, plan and deliverables

- Own and manage European category budget

- Ensure effective quality improvement activities to provide full strategic and process control.

- Focus and direct policies to drive positive changes and improvements

- Actively support delivery of annual NPPE general and functional KPIs.

- Joint lead for European Corporate property strategy and delivery of agreed commercial benefits and portfolio consolidation (Leasehold and Freehold)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & SCOPE FOR DECISION MAKING

Within your appointed European Region;

- Define, develop, engage and lead P&FM strategy & policy, through transformation and change programmes. Combining both SEL and Corporate entities

- Develop, lead, communicate and direct 3rd party P&FM Supply Partners working with our internal Procurement Team.

- Define and develop SEU P&FM Policies and processes to control the economic and fit for purpose delivery of all P&FM services. Leading delivery with stakeholders and a 3rd party P&FM supply partner(s).

- Work with our Finance Business Partners to develop financial controls and reporting outputs to monitor, improve and enhance P&FM function.

- Ensure operational and financial performance is optimised and, as a minimum, compliant with the Property & Facilities Management FSA and SEU strategy.

- Provide Strategic development and transaction support as a member of the Global Real Estate Management Team across all European corporate entities.

- Provide effective communication to all relevant SEU & European Corporate senior stakeholders.

- Act as customer service ambassador for all P&FM matters

Qualifications & Experience

For this European role the Property & FM Support should be able to demonstrate:

- European property and facilities management exposure in at least one country that makes up the Region of responsibility, ideally gained within a multi-office, “blue-chip” corporate environment, leading and supporting a diverse range of Property & FM services

- Ability to challenge service partner delivery teams and users to redefine offerings in line with Sony objectives and aspirations

- Develop and gain support and approval for a broad range of P&FM activities

- Experience of analysis, assessment, interpretation and monitoring of P&FM operational and financial data.

- Strong communication and presentation skills to senior audiences.

- Excellent stakeholder management skills.

- Business transformation and change management experience.

- Highest level of commitment to customer service, value for money and client satisfaction

- Strong written and communication skills (English) supported with local language capability

- Competent engagement of both direct and indirect reports.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the influence to deal with the broad spectrum of customers

- Ability to adapt proactively to customer requirements, managing expectations and building relationships to deliver strong customer service

- Ability and willingness to drive and support process management and improvements
