Account Role
• Actively direct multiple global accounts (in excess of £1 million)
• Devise the long-term strategic direction of the account and motivate and manage the internal account teams to ensure flawless execution of programmes.
• Establish strong relationship with client contacts – be viewed as expert strategic counsel and a problem-solver
•
• Responsible for account profitability, resourcing and effective utilisation of teams
• Ensure team are providing added value/proactive ideas and insights to client on a regular basis
Company Role
• Participate in new business, including leading pitch teams (sometimes cross-discipline)
• Lead and motivate staff to fulfil their potential
• Undertake line management and participate in recruitment and staff retention initiatives
• Actively participate in OHPR management team, devising and implementing business plan and taking responsibility for driving specific task teams
• Demonstrate a thorough understanding of other disciplines offered by OHW
• Build relationships with peers across OHW and the wider Ogilvy network
Relevant Experience
• 10 years relevant experience, to include at least 5 years global pharma communications agency experience, preferably working on large portfolios or mega brands
• Experience should be mainly prescription-only products and CNS and metabolic therapy area knowledge would be ua broad range of therapy experience would be useful
• Expert at devising creative campaign concepts
• Experienced in use of social media for pharma companies
• Should have good knowledge and ideally experience of working in or with the following disciplines: Medical Education, Healthcare Advertising, and Digital.
• Have experience in managing P&L/financial process and reporting
• Experience in team leadership
