Job Description:
As the Director, International Online Travel, you will help develop the strategy for international market growth and lead the delivery and implementation of new online travel platform enhancements, working closely with the US and INTL product teams, technologies, 3rd parties, markets, marketing, call centers, and operations to ensure a seamless and integrated customer experience across markets, channels and products.
Responsibilities
· Helping to define the local market strategy
· Developing a compelling user experience and product, differentiating the site value by closely linking to the relevant card benefits
· Laying out the strategy & framework for managing and delivering multiple launches and market enhancements
· Developing sound business cases to support the investment to expand INTL online travel
· Creating and deploying new capabilities to drive business growth
· Identifying cross market opportunities, learning’s and synergies
· Managing key strategic partnerships and internal and external partner/ supplier/ vendor relationships
· Managing a team with regional responsibility for a set of markets where they are the liaison between the TLS/GNICS market and the central teams
· Identifying platform opportunities to increase distribution
· Acting as the markets central point of contact and resource for the central online travel team

Qualifications
Skills Required:
· Previous international travel industry and experience working with Sabre/Amadeus GDS and/or American Express travel back office systems preferred
· Knowledge of the travel industry – competition, trends and customer experience expectations
· Proven track record in managing large complex web products with multiple stakeholders
· Exceptional product development and project management skills
· Experience in building new features and capabilities in a lean/agile methodology
· Customer first mindset & understanding of Cardmember needs
· Strong business development and analytical skills
· Self motivated, creative, enthusiastic, positive attitude and results driven with a strong will to win
· Ability to collaborate to achieve outcomes – across functional groups and other internal/external partner groups
· Ability to challenge the status quo, drive change and creatively problem solve
· Proven leadership skills, particularly with a geographically and skill diverse team
