Job Description
Relvar/ BREO is at a critical pre-launch phase and Respiratory Franchise are looking for a Marketing Director to work within the Global team – led by the Medicine Commercialisation Leader (MCL) – and ensure a successful global launch of Relvar. 2013 launch markets include USA, Japan, Germany and the UK.
Product Champion
• To be a product expert i.e. extensive knowledge of phase IIIa & planned IIIb/ IV l studies as well as understanding of the core value propositions.
• To champion Relvar at a global and local level and drive performance of the brand. To ensure alignment to the Global Strategy, positioning, key messages etc
Commercial Strategy Development
• Develop high quality customer insight (patient, payer, HCP and expert) to feed in to the Relvar commercialisations process.
• Support brand, access & regulatory strategy implementation & adaptation as required for aligned markets.
• Troubleshooting / facilitating on issues as they arise (e.g. supply, regulatory etc).
• Key contact for the Franchise Market Leader (FML) to ensure brand alignment across non-franchise markets.
Competitor Positioning
• Review the competitive landscape and identify business opportunities, threats, business development and research opportunities to strengthen GSK’s position growth as needed.
• Take an enterprise with the wider portfolio to ensure clear unity and alignment from the customer’s perspective; this is even more important in COPD.
Materials Development
• Support the implementation of consistent global brand strategy through Development of high quality marketing materials with Medicine Commercialisation Team (MCT) members to drive Relvar’s commercial objectives to an agreed budget and timeline.
Tracking, Monitoring And Continuous Improvement
• To optimise Relvar launch performance across franchise markets by reviewing / improving local pre-launch and post launch planning.
• To engage with senior management in aligned LOCs to support launch planning/ execution as well as sharing and embedding learnings from other markets.
• Support and deliver post launch optimisation tactics at a global and local level.
• Alignment to Australia, Brazil & China TBC.
Brand strategy development, forecasts
• Support the MCL and MCT to develop high quality Brand Strategy Plan and global forecast, highlighting key assumptions, uncertainties and triggers for upsides and downsides
