Local, pan-regional and portfolio analysis across key clients. Liaison with regional hub leaders in gathering intelligence on asks and strategies in local territories across multi-territory players (e.g. Sky, Vodafone), and consolidating those asks for central analysis and positions.
Provide deal analytics and deal negotiation support on key strategic projects and/or global, multi-territory clients
Ad hoc strategic analysis to support business decision making and M&A activity
Salesforce
Business champion in promoting Salesforce across the regional hubs and sales executives for both TVD and UNI
Liaison with IT project manager in upgrades/revisions
Collaborates with UNI finance for affiliates revenue pacing and TVD finance on long-term deal outlook and planning
Central Projects
Maintain deal tracker and deal priorities for both TVD and UNI
Promote best practices (deal terms, rights), benchmarking and sales strategy (windowing, on demand utility) across regional hubs
Maintain TVD sales practice and UNI affiliate guidelines; Provide input to UNI program acquisition guidelines.
Special projects as determined by management from time to time
Skills And Experience
Successful candidate should possess a BS/BA or masters degree (strongly preferred) in business or economics;
Minimum of 6 years of experience in business development, strategic planning, finance or consulting in the media/entertainment industry; direct experience with content licensing and/or channel carriage agreements preferred
Candidate must possess superior financial modeling, analytical skills and an ability and willingness to work at a high level of detail as well as good written and oral communication skills for presentations to senior management
Must have very strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
Highly developed interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity are necessary for international colleagues and clients
Self-motivated, proactive individual capable of working collaboratively as a member of multiple teams as well as independently;
