This role has the unique opportunity to shape, influence, and create the digital experience for our customers in EMEAR. Working closely with the global, regional and country this team will deliver the vision for Digital in the region
We are looking for a leader in digital content, innovation, execution and a true customer experience mindset. This leader will be responsible for developing the voice & engagement for all aspects of Cisco’s online presence
Role and responsibilities
• Build, develop and motivate a best in class Digital & Social Media Marketing team
• Engage with country & regional teams to execute all web, SEO/SEM, marketing automation, social media, programs.
• Utilize targeting and segmentation tools to drive anonymous and known target traffic.
• Design, build and maintain our social media presence
• Measure and report performance of all digital marketing programs and assess against goals
• Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
• Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
• Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
• Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Instrument conversion points and optimize user funnels
• Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
• Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
• Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website
• Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing
Minimum qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred) in business, marketing, communication or related field
• +12 yrs of experience in a Marketing role and at least 5 years of them within a mid-to-large size company responsible for setting and executing digital marketing strategies.
• Ability to envision an organization and to drive the recruiting and on-boarding of hired digital marketing talent.
• A combination of B2B (lead generation) and B2C (E-commerce) digital marketing experience, preferred.
• Strong technical competence and functional knowledge of Digital Marketing platforms, systems and processes.
• Ability to effectively interact and influence at senior leader/executive levels.
• Excellent communication & collaboration abilities with all levels and roles within an organization.
Desired skills:
• Experience in ecommerce, SEO, PPC, Marketing
• Demonstrated experience driving results through each of the following digital marketing channels: Search Engine Optimization (SEO), Pay-Per-Click (PPC) Search & Display, Social Media, and Email.
• A proven ability to set-up and effectively utilize leading digital marketing analytics platforms to identify and report on insights important to driving the business.
• An understanding of and experience working with supporting digital marketing technologies such as CMS, marketing automation and e-commerce platforms.
• Experience utilizing marketing automation such as ELOQUA or Marketo
• Experience with A/B and/or multivariate testing to drive increase in conversions on landing pages and website pages.
• Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role.
• User experience & Customer Centric Design thinkingKnowledge of Content plaforms and Content Marketing techniques
• Digital Newsroom experience
