As the Senior Director, you have a pivotal role at the intersection of the ACUVUE® Global Brand Portfolio strategy and EMEA region, to drive implementation of strategy and integrated communications plans for the ACUVUE® portfolio of brands which includes ACUVUE® OASYS®, ACUVUE® MOIST®, ACUVUE® TRUEYE®, and ACUVUE® DEFINETM.
· Your role involves ensuring effective and efficient Go-To-Market execution by deploying global strategies in close collaboration with local lead markets ensuring brand consistency and integration throughout the region. You will be the agency lead for all regional integrated marketing communication work that is being adapted within the EMEA Region.
· You will work in close partnership with the Global Brand Equity Director, Digital Leads, GSI and Global Innovation Platform leads that set the strategic direction and long-term plans for new and existing product development, and you will provide general oversight for these teams in the region.
· Ensuring regional and local adherence to global creative and connections strategy is critical to this role, as well as leading market development and deployment of the integrated marketing communications plans across EMEA.
· You will partner with Global Leaders on Plan of Action (POA) strategy and then lead execution and liaising with regional/local sales execution with field sales liaisons regionally. Strategy development, and publication plans for the above Brands in partnership with the Regional Marketing leads is a key part to this role.
· Development of the regional business plan with insights from the local market and inputs into global brand management’s 3 year strategic brand roadmap planning is a key element to this role. You will ensure in-market execution of those global strategies, and monitor brand health in the region, as well as sales and share, and you will drive course correction as needed.
· You will lead Regional management team with deep understanding and alignment to Region strategies, tactics & KPIs. You will be the leader for talent management and succession planning for the Region.
· Developing regional business plans with top down and bottom up frame of reference is critical to this role. You will provide course correction activities as needed, which includes partnership with supply chain to meet demand changes against business plan. Collaborate with Global Brand Leads on this front as well.
· You will lead the EMEA Region team to implement innovation, including partnering with region supply chain/PMO to implement region initiatives; leading the project team for formulation development, and adapting packaging graphics to region/markets.
· You will lead a team of 4-7 direct reports and will be a member of Regional and Country Boards for EMEA
Qualifications
What you will be great at
· Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent strongly preferred
· Extensive experience in creating a vision and executing in a brand leadership role, preferably with a breadth of functional and/or industry experience is required.
· Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience and/or Healthcare Professional marketing required.
· Extensive experience in processes such as: business planning, strategic marketing plan development portfolio management and development, market research/customer insights, new product launches and business performance tracking across a global market landscape is essential
· Demonstrated success in launching breakthrough products or leading a company’s entrance into a new category with innovative products or services is required.
· Demonstrated strategic leadership experience is required. Ability to lead and motivate in a matrix organization, where the art of persuasion and influence are the keys to success rather than direct lines of authority is required.
· Prior people management experience is required, alongside a demonstrated track record of people development through coaching and mentoring skills and leadership is required.
· Experience working in one market within the region is preferred.
