Work within a high energy and entrepreneurial Business & Technology Consulting Practice providing advisory and delivery services to UK & Ireland based Insurance clients. The role will focus on leading engagements providing Insurance clients with excellent business & technology consulting services while at the same time making vital contributions to the growth and vitality of both the local and global Insurance practices.
Involvement in Business Development:
Lead development of proposals to position, sell & close new business opportunities
Provide leadership to development of proposals for transformational deals
Achieve personal sales contribution targets
Identify & drive opportunities within client engagements to increase revenue footprint
Operate as trusted advisor to key client stakeholders
Contribution to Development of Practice:
Lead the management of practice activities such as Proposition or Solution Development, Community & Communications, Sales & Operations Management
Develop Insurance Industry thought provoking ‘points of view’ or ‘white papers’ and intellectual property
Coach and Mentor members of the team
Operate as Subject Matter Expert for specific solutions, framework, line of business, etc.

Essential Skills & Experience:
Proven track record of success with operating in the insurance industry or with a large consultancy
Deep and wide Insurance relevant experience
Has led either Consulting or Business Architecture roles on complex Business & Technology Transformation Programmes
Experience on solving complex problems and selling in a consultative role
Demonstrates thorough abilities to identify and address client needs, including developing and sustaining meaningful client relationships and understand the client's business
Ability to develop creative strategic solutions to solve clients’ business problems, and create accompanying execution roadmaps to implement the changes
Proven business development and practice development skills
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Formal Business Architecture accreditation
Has previously developed insight, propositions or offers which have delivered client revenue
Has delivered thought leadership to clients and external forums such as Industry Analysts or conferences
Industry Experience:
Solid Experience of working within the Insurance industry
Preferably within the Life & Pension, General Insurance, Re-insurance, London Markets or Broker sectors.
