Reporting into the Director of Group Financial Reporting you will be tasked with making sure that the BPC consolidation system is operational, overseeing technical work and managing a BPC resource and off-shore support team. You will provide global functional and technical support for monthly financial reporting and quarterly budgeting as well as business intelligence analysis and requirement gathering with global users to seek improvements.
Business support - BPC functional support, managing the support queue mostly around functional, data and reporting queries (BOSS, WSAAP)
BPC technical support - technical and access issues for front end users
BPC administration for:
Boss business process
Maintenance of the WSAAP and Boss user and administration guides
New user training and maintenance of training material
User Acceptance Testing of defect fixes, enhancements or upgrade
Managing communications to the user base
Monitoring system performance
Manage monthly and new year set-up including roll forward of master data
Manage updates to master data mapping changes (i.e. G/L accounts)
Manage FX rates
BPC data and master data maintenance
BPC Development – including BAU changes to Business Rules and script logic in BPC development
Manage the BPC Back up process
Banking master data authorisation - review and authorisation of treasury system updates
PERSONAL PROFILE:
Operated as a BPC Systems Controller / BPC Systems Accountant
Proven experience operating as a conduit between technical Consolidation systems teams and Finance
Accountancy qualification preferred
Experienced SAP Super User / SAP Support / SAP Administrator
