The Analytics team is an integral part of Burberry’s global Supply Chain organisation, responsible for delivering insightful analytics and utilising KPIs to improve the Burberry business performance. Scope covers operational decision making and executives.Identify improvement opportunities across supply chain through data analysis, built on a foundation of understanding business operations:
Watch: Career Advice • performance reporting, to create tactics
• trend / macro analysis to drive strategy & causal analysis to tackle root cause
You will be part of a team on a journey from reporting past performance, to driving actions based on Data & KPIs, to being predictive.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Building core capability
Have an understanding of the end-to-end process and importance of critical path
Work independently to manage the relationships and process (not exclusively in supply chain)
Provide Analysis & Communication
To provide visibility and transparency of metrics related to quality, costs, sustainability and the flow of goods from Vendor to Customer (on time, high quality delivery of weekly, monthly, and seasonal reports)
To alert where metrics do not meet KPI targets and help communicate root cause and relevance
To provide executives dashboards to make meaningful decisions
Provide support for ad-hoc data analysis requests
Develop and deliver initiatives to improve performance by:
Engaging stakeholders: Conceiving operable implementation approaches with peers and senior colleagues across divisions
Project Managing: For cross functional initiatives, manage through influence, as there is no direct chain of command
Building sustainable solutions using people, process and technology
PERSONAL PROFILE
Bachelor’s degree
Advanced Excel Skills (Macros; Pivot table; Vlookup mandatory)
SAP / HANA knowledge beneficial
Analytics, Reporting, BI, BW
Good communication skills
Ability to multi-task and work in a fast moving environment
Good knowledge of Supply Chain End to End
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, primarily Excel and Powerpoint
Analytical mind set
An open, curious, inquisitive approach
Self-starter with people skills to build trust, persuade and work as part of a team
Clear and well-structured verbal and written communications
Ability to ask questions and structure input to problem solve
Ability to work on multiple tasks in parallel, without losing attention to detail
Good time management to balance priorities
Aptitude to work independently and know when to ask for help
