Strategy Manager Destination Content Expedia London

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Content Manager to join the Content team at Hotels.com. Reporting into the Director, Global Content; the person in this role will be responsible for our destination content as well as working with a number of different teams across Expedia Inc. This includes but is not limited to working with our product/variable channel teams in London on how destination content is displayed on site, liaising with regional stakeholders on destination content priorities for their markets, and collaborating with other Expedia Inc. teams on strategic priorities.
You will work closely with a number of teams at Hotels.com and within Expedia Inc., so outstanding stakeholder management, influencing, business case, and relationship building skills are a must.

Responsibilities:
Setting and owning destination content strategy at Hotels.com and working with the relevant internal teams to drive improvements
Managing a team of 2 destination content leads, based in London
Striving to solve customer problems and pain points through content initiatives
Being a subject matter expert on how backend content systems interact with front end product features
Being the business owner for the new destination content repository and API from an implementation standpoint
Investigating and pushing for scalable content solutions to improve SEO and on-site KPIs
Overseeing a large content creation budget and managing internal/external vendor relations for global projects
Driving analytics to answer key questions around content value and ROI
Piloting different content solutions to ensure the most efficient use of resource
Regular competitive benchmarking to stay abreast of industry trends
Drive strategic content initiatives and thinking across Expedia Inc.
Qualifications:
Motivated, proactive nature with the ability to work with multiple teams across the global business
Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver on time is key
People management experience is desired
Excellent organization/project management skills
Strong level of Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must
Ability to manage budgets and forecast schedules
Experience with Adobe marketing cloud and data cubes is a big plus and/or ability to learn
Other language skills a plus
Work Experience and Education Guidelines:
Bachelor’s degree, MBA is desired
Experience in management consulting is a plus
Experience working in a travel or tech company is a plus
