Citigroup Hedge Fund - Personal Assistant to the CEO Citi - London



Job Description

Citigroup manage a $1 billion Emerging markets hedge fund. The fund has been in existence for 10 years and the CEO has been involved in these markets for over 30 years. The organization is small and efficient with 17 staff in offices in London and Hong Kong.

Key Responsibilities:
· Provide professional & proactive administrative services including calendar management (for work and personal diaries), email management, travel, expenses & expense claim management, collection & return of visitors, collection and delivery of documents and meeting the CEO of EMSO as necessary to ensure the successful operation of that role.
. Regular liaison and management of contacts with senior management.
· Balance delivery of key tasks, prioritising work according to business pressures and deliverables.
· Undertake ad hoc secretarial request, involving appropriate research and planning, organisation of resources and tracking key deliverables and milestones.
· Sensitive management of confidential and personal information.
· Establish and maintain administrative systems and processes which ensure appropriate document storage and retrieval for the office of the CEO of EMSO.
· Outstanding written & spoken communication skills. Ability and confidence to deal effectively and professionally with people at all levels of the organisation, as well as external people.
. Drafting letters and memos, ordering of stationery.

Desired Skills & Experience

Knowledge/Experience:
· Proven experience as, or with potential to be, a Personal Assistant, within the Financial Services / Banking sector
· Trading floor/investment banking experience desirable
Skills:
· Able to use initiative and pick up new tasks quickly
· Strong attention to detail
· Strong IT skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
· Experience using Concur (Expense System) and Citigroup’s in-house P2p system advantageous
· Good organization, communication and time management skills required
· Able to build effective relationships across all levels and functional divisions.
· Able to work as part of a team
· Able to exercise discretion when dealing with sensitive situations
