As part of Wipro’s continued growth we are looking to for a seasoned Datacenter Presales Architect to complement our existing team. This will be in our Global Infrastructure Services practice which is experiencing significant development due to the advancements in technology and a rise in client appreciation for flexible technology requirements
.
The role will require proactive GIS solutioning in the identified accounts-Work with customer’s CIO, CTO, Head of Infra and Infra Leads/organizations and understand customer requirements and initiatives. Conceptualise new business & solution strategy, winning themes and differentiators to create one proactive proposal per month. Increase GIS’s share of business in the account

Desired Skills and Experience
Role & Responsibilities:
Build competency in new technology areas and expand technical proficiency to one new area per quarter. New technology learning’s to be shared/discussed in both internal and external forums. Works closely with Vertical Account Team, GIS BFSI Sales, Presales and Delivery teams.
Should have worked on multiple managed services & transformation deals (TCV of at least 10Mn USD) with a healthy win ratio
Entrepreneurial approach and mindset; Go-getter; Gets things done
Flair for pre-sales, customer interaction and fluency in communications is of utmost importance. Exhibits excellent interpersonal skills.
Should have authority and hold on integrated solutions and some Telecom domain knowledge so as to question and challenge solutions proposed by individual practices/SME’s
Experience and expertise in mapping IT strategy to business strategy
Ideal candidate will bring rich solution-architecting focus over the last 5 years on integrated deals spanning Applications, Infrastructure and/or Security;
Will play a lead role in presenting solutions to the customer and be accountable for solution design, sizing, commercials, etc.
Strong understanding of Data centre services & transformation ( virtualization, cloud etc), Network, Tools, Managed Services etc and constraints that impact the solution – relevant Telecom domain knowledge would be strength

Qualifications
Technical University degree or Bachelor's degree; Masters Degree preferred
Typically 20 years’ experience in IT industry handling various IT Infrastructure like Servers, Storage, Network, virtualization etc.
10+ years’ Experience as Solution Architect in IT industry
Appropriate certifications from SUN/ Cisco, VMware, COBIT, TOGAF etc.
