Job Description
Be the right hand of the SVP of EMEA in preparing for Corporate Management meetings in terms of business performance, and same for the VP of Market Operations in preparation for Global Pre-SOP.

Continuously add to our business intelligence gained from new data sources supporting the adaptive challenge of digital on a corporate level in close collaboration with Global Insights (Innovation and Consumer Marketing) and Strategic Reporting (Corporate Finance).



You will be responsible for managing and leading EMEA Business Intelligence (CMA Area) to collect, process, analyse and report on internal and external business performance through Global S&OP. You will provide the SVP of EMEA and EMEA LT with actionable and timely insights into the performance of LEGO, its customers and the toy market. You will impact business decisions on an EMEA level in terms of business planning and execution, including the investments levels in both Sales and Marketing compared to the supply capabilities of the company.

Your specific tasks include:

- Ensure continuous development and execution of weekly and monthly reporting within the business intelligence on a regional and EMEA business unit level. This includes both internal and external collaboration to increase the relevant datapoints and explore correlations between them.
- Responsible for the quality of insights and proposed actions concerning the EMEA business in Corporate Management Meetings and Global S&OP is world class.
- Execute ad-hoc analytical projects based on either request from the SVP of EMEA or the VP of Market Operations.
- Lead the EMEA network of Business Intelligence consultants and responsible for their functional capabilities. Further, ensure to maximize the total value of what the network can perform, meaning making sure resources are collaborating to create optimum value for the business.

Primary Goals:

- Consumer Sales
Transform analytics of business performance into a projection of future performance, leading to actions to will optimize our business to meet our long and short term business ambitions.

- Customer Pulse
Lead through the European BI network ensuring best possible foundation to ensure balance between our planning and execution. That will lead to higher In Stocks, retail stock turn and better Demand Planning performance within the EMEA region.

- EVA
Improved demand planning and execution based on Business Intelligence will lead to total value chain efficiencies. Further it will support an even more effective use of demand stimulating investments above and below the line.

- Leadership, to bring insights to action, the person need to lead both downwards (Business Intelligence Consultants in EMEA), sideways (EMEA Market Operations LT, Strategic Reporting (Corporate Finance) and Consumer Insights (Innovation and Consumer Marketing) and upwards SVP EMEA (Corporate Management) and VP Market Operations (Global S&OP)

At the same time it from a leadership perspective offers an opportunity to lead a network of professionals and to collaborate across the value chain of the company. And finally it exposes the candidate to top leaders of the company.

The role will be an integral part of running the biggest region in the LEGO Group, and will get experience in both Marketing and Sales planning and execution together with strong Operational experience and being part of a BU-LT operationally responsible for more than 50% of the LEGO Groups turnover.

Do you have what it takes?

- Extensive and substantial years of experience of progressively responsible experience in Strategy, Business Development, Leadership and Analytics
- Interpreting, analyzing and synthesizing multiple sources of information into concise, strategic analysis and polished written and graphical reports and presentations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal abilities and comfort level in working with senior leaders across the company.
- Extensive, deep knowledge of LEGO Company operations and business practices, including Operations disciplines (forecasting, finance, business & market intelligence, supply planning), Sales (account planning, productivity analysis, retailer scorecards, promotional planning, etc) Marketing (advertising, product planning, promotional planning).
- Overall knowledge of strategic planning, manufacturing and retailing disciplines.
- Experience in project management and leadership, as well as in leading cross-functional projects and leading peers.
- Master’s degree or equivalent

Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, including data manipulation, interpretation, synthesis and strategic thinking.
- Ability to execute sophisticated data analysis (non-statistical) using large data sets, and translate the resulting information into concise, insightful findings and recommendations.
- Qualitative research skills, including identifying sources, gathering information and distilling and summarizing information.
- Strategic knowledge of operations, marketing, sales and general business.
- Excellent written and oral communication.
- Strong interpersonal skills and focus on developing others; ability to provide direction and leadership to peers.
- Orientation toward customer service, teamwork and innovation
- Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision, high level of organization and focus
