We have an excellent opportunity for a Director, Product Management, Blood Glucose Monitoring (BGM). Reporting in to the VP of Product Management, Diabetes Care you will be responsible for influencing and developing business unit strategy and driving its execution for the BGM portfolio of projects.

As The Director, Product Managementyour Typical Day May Include
Gaining cross functional alignment on project prioritization, scope, capabilities and resourcing
Ensuring that programs remain on course for success by resolving resource conflicts and removing obstacles, which may involve negotiations at a senior level
Establishing plans for talent development, diversification, and professional development for the group
Ensuring that proper risk management and risk mitigation strategies are established and managed to increase success probability; ensuring projects are managed through data driven metrics to ensure continuous improvement
Provide updates to Diabetes Leadership Team and Supply Chain Leadership Team regarding the initiation, prioritization and completion of current portfolio projects
Defining, identifying and securing appropriate internal and external resources and coordinating the efforts of team members in order to facilitate manufacturing scale-up and deliver projects according to the plan
Manage multiple budgets related to specific BGM platform to meet financial business plan
Build strong and productive relationships with cross-functional partners
Provide strong technical leadership, direction and resources to team and other project/functional team/s
What You’ll Own And How You’ll Grow
This role will also be part of the Extended CMD Supply Chain Leadership Team. You will be Accountability for the entire BGM portfolio of projects across SC, R&D, QA and Commercial including pproviding analysis, guidance, and solutions to senior leadership on critical business deliverables for BGM.
You will have full responsibility for your team development, using coaching and mentoring to develop their full potential and providing development opportunities for people from across the enterprise.
Be Vital
You will be degree qualified in an engineering discipline together with applicable industry experience and medical device development experience. You will have a strong track record of leading cross-functional teams and leading, mentoring, and developing direct reports. You will also be able to design and execute strategy to a high level.
Together With
In-depth knowledge and experience in program/project management of medical devices
Experience of leading design control processes and product erification/validation activities
Experience in outsourced medical device development, manufacturing, manufacturing technologies or process development is required
Experience applying knowledge of the regulatory landscape to ensure standards- compliant design is required
Certification in Process Excellence (Green Belt or Black Belt) is a plus
