Job Description:
The EMEAR Content Marketing Director will be responsible for unifying the content (hub) teams across the region, regadless of their reporting lines so that all content ideation, production, distribution, promotion and performance is optimized, managed and consistently approached. You will manage and deliver strategic projects both within content hubs, across content hubs and certain strategic projects at the regional level.
The role reports to the VP Marketing EMEAR and works with the EMEAR Marketing Leadership team. They also work with the other regional content marketing leaders around the world to identify and share best practice and develop working processes for their teams.

In this position, a strategic focus and the ability to understand customer and partner business needs is essential. Our ideal candidate will:

- Create and drive the overall strategic content and publishing plan for the region, across all hubs
- Work with the regional sales leaders to determine the execution priorities of the content plan by segment, audience and work in close in partnership with the country marketing leaders and sales leaders to establish strong alignment across teams.
- Oversee all creation of content across hubs to ensure it adheres to the content guidelines, including brand and tone of voice.
- Works with the regional Content Marketing Specialist Leaders to
o define regional prorities and guidelines, together with limited content support that is appropriate at the region level (although mostly content production is managed within the content hubs themselves).
o Drive regional executions through the regional marketing specialist leaders and EMEAR marketing leadership team.
o Drive optimisation of resources across the region to remove duplication or enable sharing of similar efforts for performance
o Work with all teams to balance structured vs real-time responsive content execution
- Work with the regional digital team to optimise overall execution mix and content promotion aligned to timelines.
- Work with global and regional colleagues to share content, best practices and drive process improvements
- Drive and report performance metrics across the region to optimize content through frequent testing and data analysis to maximize ROI.
- Manage across functional (with virtual members) team of Content Marketing Specialist Leaders, Marketing communications and content hubs setting ambitious, SMART (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, Timebound) objectives to lead the team to success.

Minimum qualifications/Desired skills:

• +8 years of experience in content production or content marketing at a regional or global level.
• Preferably experience matured in the IT, Telecom, Media domain (either B2B or B2C) or within agencies .
• A passion for technology with a broad view of Cisco’s products, solutions and services
• Self-motivated, non hierarchical
• Ability to collaborate, lead and work with global/regional/local colleagues as part of a physical or virtual team.
• Ability to manage virtual team members
• Strong project management skills with the ability to move campaigns forward in a complex environment whilst actively managing multiple stakeholders while maintaining project schedules and delivering on time
• Highly creative with a proven ability to develop and manage engaging and original campaigns through different channels.
• Strategic and tactical expertise in social media.
• Awareness of the latest marketing trends (outward focused)
• Proven copywriting and editing skills whilst adhering to brand and tone of voice guidelines. Track record of leveraging traditional, web and social marketing channels.
• Demonstrable understanding of the target audience and expertise in creating content for a number of audiences
• Strong analytical skills, with experience in using tools to obtain metrics and reports.
• Strong leadership, influencing skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced matrixed organisation
• Ability to think and act strategicallyOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsStrong people development skills – additional qualifications (coaching etc ) an advantage.

• Fluent in English
