As a senior director in field marketing, you will be responsible for driving demand generation & awareness programs and leading the development of EMEA marketing initiatives and specifications for SaaS & PaaS services to mid-size companies (<1,000 employees).
• Drive awareness of Oracle as an MSE-relevant cloud provider
• Manage marketing activities to meet revenue and pipeline objectives for OracleDirect.
• Monitor the development of business plans and business results of Digital marketing.
• Implement and monitor advertising campaigns.
• Act as a marketing advisor for SaaS & PaaS applications for MSE’s. Initiate and foster relationships with OracleDirect, development and other internal groups to develop new products or enhance functionality of existing product(s) or product line(s).
• Work with Channel & Partner Marketing to assist in driving MSE focused campaigns to and through Oracle partners and ISVs
• Single point of accountability to Oracle Direct MSE Sales for the results of all MSE PaaS & SaaS Marketing activities
• Key contributor to the strategy and planning interlock at Regional MSE Demand Generation Boards
• Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.
Core Responsibilities
• Assists in the creation of divisional strategy and consults with senior management in providing direction to ensure growth and financial success. Ensures a consistent approach of organizational policies and procedures.
• Owns the Marketing relationship with OracleDirect SaaS & PaaS Sales Teams in EMEA
• Drive change in Marketing tactics and behaviour
Required Experience
• In-depth knowledge of the EMEA MSE market for software applications
• Experience of volume channel marketing programs
• Proven history of rolling out innovative Content & Digital Marketing programs
• Experience of running a Marketing function
• Cross geographical coverage, preferably across EMEA
• Extensive marketing analysis experience
• MBA desired
