Emerging Markets Marketing Manager Facebook London

The Global Business Marketing team seeks a passionate leader to develop content and drive an integrated marketing strategy for Facebook’s Emerging Markets advertising business. The ideal candidate has domain expertise in digital advertising/marketing and experience with marketing messaging for Emerging Markets. Familiarity with the needs of global advertisers will also be extremely helpful. In addition, we’re looking for someone with deep business acumen and the desire to transform how some of the industries’ largest marketers conduct their digital marketing on a global basis.
The successful candidate will have a breadth of functional experience in marketing communications, including strong content development and messaging skills, and the ability to develop a strategic integrated marketing plan. Excellent marketing, advocacy, communication and project management skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across cross-functional teams. The candidate will need to use strategic thinking to develop marketing programs and an impactful marketing plan working in a fast-paced, always-on environment. This position is full-time, based in our London office, and will also require some global travel.
Responsibilities

Drive the content strategy, message and materials development for Facebook’s Emerging Markets products and business
Develop an integrated marketing plan including customer-facing programs, and execute on elements of the plan
Work directly with product marketing team to develop positioning, messaging, and strategy for landing our core value proposition
Work directly with the sales and agency teams to deeply understand needs of their business and how our messaging and content can educate and drive impact for emerging markets clients
Work with global and cross-functional counterparts to ensure cohesion and scalability for advertising messaging, campaigns and programs
Create content that can be used by sales teams to generate new business, educate clients on new products/features and engage clients on innovative ways to drive awareness/sales via social marketing techniques
Develop and run integrated global marketing campaigns that bring the Emerging Markets value proposition to life in a digital, mobile-first environment
Requirements

Bachelors degree
8+ years of experience in web technology companies, digital media, or advertising working with global brands or agencies
Experience working in global companies, marketing to/for Emerging Markets, and/or working in the developing world will be very helpful
Expertise in content development and development and execution of integrated marketing plans
Strong cross-functional, project management and leadership skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the organization
Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to translate complex concepts into simple and intuitive communications
Strong creative perspective to bring fresh ideas to product positioning and marketing campaigns
Strong understanding of and comfort with how to use data to tell our story effectively
Ability to handle the pace and ambiguity that comes with working in a fast-paced, always-on, start-up environment across multiple time zones and teams
