Critical to the Finance function, we are looking for a Group Accounting Finance Manager to help us communicate the numbers to the wider business and beyond. It’s not just your job to report on the numbers however, you will have free reign to add real value to the way we do things through additional responsibilities and ad hoc project work.
Working with complex consolidating accounting models, supporting quarterly reporting to our US parent company.
Leading the preparation of Virgin Media subsidiary statutory IFRS financial statements.
Ensuring the accurate translation of complex financial accounting information into robust, accurate and timely reporting.
Utilising your excellent communication skills to frequently engage with multiple VM teams and key stakeholders.
Everyone in our Finance team has a proactive approach to work, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to deliver to deadlines. If you join us as a Group Accounting Finance Manager we would want you to have:
A professional accountancy qualification (ACA/ACCA or equivalent).
Approximately 1-3 years post qualification experience.
A thorough understanding of IFRS and previous experience working in practice (ideally Top 10).
Strong MS Excel and Financial Systems skills.
Involvement with large group consolidations (Desirable).
Oracle, Hyperion/HFM exposure (Desirable).
Experience reporting under US GAAP (Desirable).
