Based on unprecedented demands for our services, we are looking individuals to join the London Team. These additional members will join our core team to deliver external audits. The successful candidates will also have the opportunity to become involved in a range of advisory assignments currently provided to the investment management and private equity sector. Recent projects have included transaction advisory support, controls reviews, internal audit support, regulatory consulting and other technical advice. You will also be expected to assist with the technical and business development initiatives within the team.
This role will have responsibility for:
Managing a portfolio of clients on a day-to-day basis
Delivering external audit engagements, from planning stage to final reporting within agreed timescales
Management of multiple engagement teams, including review of audit work.
Developing client relationships with senior client staff
Developing and utilising cross service line relationships to enhance client service
Monitoring of engagement economics, including time allocation, billing and cash management
Reviewing financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP, IFRS and US GAAP
To have a broader perspective of potential issues encountered when managing diverse teams and the strategies to overcome them; have a clear commitment to fostering an inclusive culture
Requirements
A successful candidate will possess the following:
ACA qualification or (equivalent)
Experience of auditing clients within the investment management or private equity sector
Strong understanding of the internal controls
Experience of IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP conversions
Knowledge of FCA regulation, particularly Client Asset and Client Money rules
Strong understanding of the investment management and private equity sector, and awareness of emerging trends
Ability to develop strong client relationships
Impressive analytical capabilities

Highly proficient in written and oral communication, with experience in report writing
Project management capabilities
Proven ability to use initiative, adapt and independently solve problems
