Responsibilities

This position is responsible for the functional and strategic leadership of all aspects related to teams and resources in the delivery of a Project in Cambridge England including cost and time management control, as well as holding the key relationship ownership with stakeholder communities with clients and internally .

Main responsibilities will include the continued development and leadership of a project management and project supervision community that will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of projects under the Program.

Lead the local skills development, information sharing and project management discipline necessary to the deliver Projects in a timely manner at planned gross margins or higher.

Engagement with the Sales team and working with to secure new projects for integrated building management systems, fire systems and security systems.
Experience

Thorough knowledge of Projects field operations and financial processes.
Demonstrated ability to lead a team
Strong financial acumen
Experience in dealing with project escalations and commercial negotiations related to variations and final accounts


Skills

· Extensive experience in a team leadership role necessary

· Project Management experience in M&E , Building Automation, or Industrial Automation will an advantage though not a must

· Financial Skills - The ability to understand financial data at contract level and identify appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure key metrics are achieved.

· Operational Analysis – The ability to obtain relevant information on operational issues from multiple sources, think broadly about those issues and recognize trends/possible cause-effect relationships.

· Execution - The ability to mobilize resources and develop and implement action plans / control mechanisms to achieve desired results and deliver on commitments.
