What the role entails:
•Develop and execute team sales and account management strategies aimed at exceeding financial targets and partner satisfaction scores
•Increase business opportunities with Groupon Getaways portfolio of existing partners

•Set clear goals and provide direction to the team
•Ensure our partners and hoteliers have best in class support delivered seamlessly by the Account Management team

•Manage team to successfully launch new and existing partners onto the Groupon Getaways sites and EMEA wide platforms

•Potentially manage a small number of strategic key accounts personally
•Engage in hiring and development of your team
•Provide coaching and support to drive results on a daily basis
•Provide regular updates and actionable areas of improvement of the team to the Senior Management

•Support team in escalation management
•Work with closely with Revenue Management teams to set targets, optimize outputs and drive growth
•Roll out company processes and team initiatives and incentives
•Provide positive leadership through periods of change

•Attend trade shows as and when required


What we need from you?

Proven track record in Hotel sales within an OTA, wholesaler or Tour Operator background is highly desirable

A minimum of 6 years as a B2B Sales or Operations Manager/Director

Have previously managed a sales team and sales KPI’s
Experience in winning and managing key regional travel accounts is essential

Strong working knowledge of hotel distribution technologies (direct connectivity, CRS, GDS, Channel Managers)
Excellent commercial awareness and high attention to detail
Ability to coach, inspire and motivate
Drive for excellence, strong influencer and customer focused
A demonstrable problem solver
Ability to make effective decisions and cope with pressure
Ability to prioritise, organize teams and work productively to meet deadlines
Excellent communication skills; written, spoken (over the phone and in person)
Impeccable interpersonal and social skills, positive attitude, energetic approach and self-motivation

An existing strong network in hotel and tour operators
