PayPal seeks a business-savvy, data-driven and action-oriented leader to join its entrepreneurial environment as the Director, EMEA Business Analytics. The mission of the team is to foster a data-driven culture and drive end-to-end customer thinking throughout PayPal – converting analysis and insights through to value articulation and realization. Responsibilities: • Collaborate and act as thought partner with key stakeholders to develop actionable insights • Partner with other regional analytics teams across the business • Identify key business levers and metrics, establish cause & effect, perform analysis and communicate key findings and recommendations • Discover new opportunities to grow and optimize the business through analytics, financial modeling and business case development • Manage and oversee outsourced vendors and contractors • Attract, retain and develop a world class business analytics team

Qualifications:
Strong people management experience, and senior experience in business analytics and insights in a fast moving and matrixed environment
MS/PhD or MBA or equivalent work experience required
Significant experience with SQL or a major software engineering language required
Familiarity with statistical packages a plus
Previous experience in product, marketing, sales analytics or consulting a plus
High-energy and self-driven orientation
