Communications Director, Consumer (Brand Team)
We are seeking a seeking a highly experienced Consumer Communications Director with experience in international market expereince to help build a team. You will be responsible for up to a total of £2m fee revenue with the people management of up to 15 staff.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Current, big brand FMCG experience essential
* Experienced in navigating big global corporations
* Understanding and capabilities to navigate big brand framework
* Very strong P&L management capabilities and experience in account financial management, business planning, budgeting, capacity planning etc
* Experienced in all facets of people management
* Have held a similar position with proven experience in a senior management role
* Experience of leading global campaigns
* Proven track record in industry leading campaigns
* Passion for exemplary creativity, thought leading strategy and delivering industry leading campaigns
* Proven track record of winning pitches
* Proven track record of client retention and growth
* Proof of work in integrated campaigns and integrated agency work
* Proven track record in strategic brand advice and account team leadership
* Time management skills and well organised.
* Proven ability to work and deliver in a fast paced, high pressure environment.
Brief:
Carrying out activities such as:
* Identify business opportunities across a number of areas – creative output, staffing etc with a view to developing pragmatic and practical solutions
* Strategic planning Monthly forecasting and annual business planning including revenue and resourcing P&L management (fees, costs and profit) Capacity planning (in conjunction with FD) Monitor financial expenditure/fee income/business growth as applicable; actively contribute to the Agency’s profitability
* Develop major creative and strategic campaigns from start to finish with excellent writing and presenting skills
* Give broad-ranging creative and strategic advice on issues relating to specific client programmes and wider PR and marketing issues to clients and teams
* Give high level advice on strategic issues and media handling issues Keep abreast of industry trends, developments and opportunities
